The raw material commonly used in manufacturing tungsten electrodes is high-purity tungsten powder. These powders are carefully selected and processed to ensure they are free of impurities to ensure the quality and performance of the electrodes. Tungsten powder is mixed and an appropriate amount of binding agent is added to improve formability. The mixed material is pressed into an electrode blank of the desired shape through a pressing process, usually isostatic pressing or injection molding.
